NFC / QR Issues
Follow these checks — most issues are solved here
Before you start
Important quick checks
• Remove phone cover if it is very thick
• Keep phone unlocked while testing
• Try on another phone if available
If NFC is not working
Check if your phone supports NFC
Not all phones support NFC.
Search your phone model on Google with “NFC support”.
Make sure NFC is turned ON
Go to phone settings → NFC → Turn ON.
Android:
Settings → Connections → NFC
iPhone:
NFC is ON by default (no setting)
Tap at the correct position
• iPhone: Tap the
top back
of the phone
• Android: Tap the
center or upper back
• Hold for 1–2 seconds
Still not working?
Some phones have weak NFC sensors.
Please use the QR code printed on the card instead.
If QR code is not scanning
Try a different camera app
Use Google Camera, default camera, or Google Lens.
Check lighting and focus
• Clean the card surface
• Increase screen brightness
• Avoid glare and reflections
QR opens wrong or old page?
Update your link in the dashboard, tap
Save / Update
, then wait a few seconds and try again.
Important information
QR always works
Even if NFC does not work on a phone, the QR code will always open the same page.
This is not a defect
NFC behaviour depends on phone hardware. It does not mean your card or standee is faulty.
